Vivian needed our help. Vivian is a bulldog mix currently being fostered by a great home for New Hope Animal Rescue. Vivian was rescued by New Hope after living in a rabbit cage on stilts outside. She could barely stand or walk at the time of rescue. Due to the damage from the wire floor of the rabbit cage she had to have her paw pads sewn back on. She also suffers from arthritis and a severe lack of muscle strength. We raised funds to allow Vivian to benefit from aquatic therapy in an effort to improve her mobility. Vivian is super sweet, gets along with cats and other dogs, loves belly rubs and car rides. She was failed miserably by her previous owners and deserves the fresh start she is currently enjoying. Please help Vivian by making a donation at www.daisysnb.com and by sharing her story.

Molly was a special needs puppy being fostered by someone working at It Takes A Village. In addition to being blind, in order to be eligible for adoption, Molly required surgeries to repair a cleft pallet and multiple hernias. After being blessed with the opportunity to meet and help provide care for Molly it was a pleasure to help raise funds on an individual basis to fund her medical procedures. Molly benefitted from successful surgeries and was able to be adopted into a very loving home. Involvement in the efforts to care for Molly was an awakening to the needs of many dogs like Molly in the Tri-State area and the original spark behind the creation of Daisy’s New Beginnings.

Dominic was recently surrendered to It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue after being lost in the woods for over a month. Dominic is 10 to 12 years old and a super sweet dog that will make someone a great best friend, when he is healthy enough to be adopted. Daisy’s New Beginnings is providing funds to pay for his veterinary bills and aquatic therapy. The hope is that the aquatic therapy helps him rebuild his strength while he regains his weight. We will post some videos next week of Dominic’s aquatic therapy lessons. When you provide support to Daisy’s New Beginnings and your local shelters, dogs like Dominic get a second chance. These dogs deserve our help and a chance at a happy ending.

Ace

Meet Ace, an extraordinary dog who relied on our assistance. At the age of two and a half, he experienced a devastating leg fracture that required surgical intervention and the insertion of a plate to facilitate healing and provide stability. Ace was surrendered to New Hope Animal Rescue in Henderson by his breeder. Unfortunately, his body has started to reject the plate, necessitating its removal. We are committed to assisting with the associated medical expenses so that Ace can become eligible for adoption and find a caring forever home. Your unwavering support for Daisy's New Beginnings, coupled with the funds you generously contribute, empowers us to provide fresh starts to deserving dogs like Ace.
