Daisy’s New Beginnings: 50/50 Raffle Event for 2023
Promoter/Sponsor of the “Daisy’s New Beginnings: 50/50 Raffle Event” (the Raffle) is Daisy’s New Beginnings with an address of 1309B North Green River Road, Evansville, IN.
PURPOSE OF CHARITABLE RAFFLE EVENT
The purpose of this Raffle is to raise funds to cover lifesaving medical treatment for recuse and orphan dogs.
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
All entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions provided in these Official Rules as well as by all interpretations of said Official Rules by Daisy’s New Beginnings. All decisions of Daisy’s New Beginnings,
including resolutions of disputes in connection with this 50/50 Raffle Event, will be final and binding in all matters. This Raffle is subjected to all applicable Indiana laws and regulations specifically to provisions of
Indiana Code governing charity gaming, found in Indiana Code section 4-32.3, as well as the oversight by the Indiana Gaming Commission.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible participation for this Raffle Event is open to legal U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age or older at time of ticket purchase, and with a valid form of identification to gain entry. Active board members and
employees of Daisy’s New Beginnings, or any direct members of their households, are not eligible to enter or win.
ENTRY PERIOD
Raffle tickets can be purchased during the following timeframe known as the “Entry Period”:
Entry Period will begin on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 7:00 AM
Entry Period ends on the following schedule:
For raffle packets, Entry Period ends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11:59 PM
Raffle packets will be picked up on Friday, August 25, 2023
For the onsite event, Entry Period ends on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 12:00 PM
The Raffle will close on Saturday, August 26, 2023 12:00 PM
No raffle tickets for the 2023 50/50 Raffle Event will be sold after 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 26,2023

HOW TO ENTER
Tickets will be sold for the Raffle Event throughout the Entry Period. To enter the Raffle, entrants must purchase authorized raffle tickets sold by approved promoters of this Daisy’s New Beginnings event. ALL
TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED USING CASH ONLY. Raffle tickets will be sold in the following amounts:
Three (3) raffle tickets for $5
10 tickets for $10
25 tickets for $20
50 tickets for $40
150 tickets for $100
All raffle tickets purchased must be turned into an authorized promoter of this Daisy’s New Beginnings event by the close of the Entry Period to be eligible for the drawing held August 26, 2023. There is no limit of how many raffle tickets may be purchased by one (1) individual or group, however, the prize will only be distributed to a singular person who meets all eligibility requirements.
WINNER SELECTION
One (1) winning raffle ticket will be selected at random, utilizing a raffle drum lottery spinner by a party unaffiliated with Daisy’s New Beginnings and with no vested interest in the raffle’s outcome. The party
selected to draw the winning raffle ticket will be an individual not associated with the selling of any raffle tickets for this event. Party selected will be blindfolded when drawing the winning raffle ticket. Winner will be announced live on August 26, 2023 no later than 2:00 PM at this Daisy’s New Beginnings event. The winning raffle ticket will be posted on the Daisy’s New Beginnings website and official Facebook page. Winning raffle ticket holder need not be present at this event when the winning raffle ticket is selected and announced to be eligible to win.
PRIZE CLAIM
Winner who is present for the drawing of the winning raffle ticket will receive winnings at the event on August 26, 2023 in the form of a check. The winning raffle ticket holder must meet all eligibility criteria outlined in the “Eligibility” section of this document, including valid identification on their person and proof of ticket ownership to receive prize.
Winner who is not present for the drawing of the winning raffle ticket is to present the winning raffle ticket to Mark Jewel at Daisy’s Pet Playground 1309B North Green River Road, Evansville, IN. The winning raffle ticket and a valid form of identification are required as proof of ticket ownership. Participants are responsible for monitoring the official event information outlets, Daisy’s New Beginnings website and official Facebook page, for winner selection updates.
Winning ticket holder must claim prize within 30 days from August 26, 2023. In the event the winning raffle ticket prize is not claimed within said timeframe, a random redrawing will be held within 48 hours under the rules outlined in the “Winner Selection” section of this document. The updated winning raffle ticket will then be posted on the Daisy’s New Beginnings website and official Facebook page. This process will repeat until the owner of the winning raffle ticket claims their prize or until January 2, 2024, whichever occurs first. Once a winner has been declared, the 50/50 Raffle Event will officially close and will be announced on the Daisy’s New Beginnings website and official Facebook page.
In the event that the winning raffle ticket holder does not wish to claim their prize, the prize amount is automatically given back to Daisy’s New Beginnings as a charitable donation and a letter reflecting the prize’s
change of ownership may be issued upon request for tax purposes.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Only an authorized raffle ticket purchased for the event held on August 26, 2023 as presented by Daisy’s New Beginnings or an official sponsor can enter and win.
All raffle ticket purchases are final and no refunds or replacements will be issued. Daisy’s New Beginnings is not responsible for raffle tickets once they are sold. A raffle is a game of chance and in no way a sweepstake or lottery. Purchases of raffle ticket(s) does not guarantee a return and the cost of each ticket purchased is NOT tax deductible.
In the event the winning raffle ticket is disqualified, a random redrawing will be held within 48 hours under the rules outlined in the “Winner Selection” section of this document and announced on the aforementioned authorized channels.
Winner is responsible for all taxes.
Daisy’s New Beginnings reserves all rights and assumes no liability outside of the regulatory laws outlined in the “Official Rules and Regulations” section of this document. All decisions will be made final by Daisy’s New Beginnings and are not subject to objections.
Daisy’s New Beginnings Muttsminster Event is being held on August 26, 2023 at Friedman Park 2700 park Blvd,Newburgh, IN 47630 and is underwritten Daisy’s New Beginnings.
